Training ~ Lessons
LESSONS: We provide customized lessons with homework programs for beginning through the advanced riders of all disciplines. We offer basic horsemanship, trail riding and show instruction in both English and Western riding, any discipline. Lesson can be taken at either Gina Gardner's or arrangements can be made to use another facility if requested. Fees: $50.00 per hour for private lessons at your arena Fees: $40.00 per hour for private lessons at my arena Group lessons are available with a negotiated fee plus travel expenses. TRAINING: I believe a horse and rider should work as a team and I strive to create good work ethics in a willing horse. The gait the horse will excel in depends mostly on his conformation. Every horse has potential. Our training success is based upon identifying your horse's basic strengths and building on them. I am known by many as a natural trainer. While in training with me, your horse is provided with twenty four hour supervision. When away from the work arena and out on the trail, they still continue their training, but in a more relaxed atmosphere and are allowed to be a horse. I strongly believe that a horse's peace of mind is essential to a good workout. Training is provided from kindergarten to finished horse. A complete nutritional program that includes grain and hay are provided. Specialized diets, supplements and/or medications are the responsibility of the owner. Horses must be current on their vaccinations, worming and Coggins; Farrier fees are the horse owner's responsibility. Monthly videos of the training progress are provided.
